Invitación a todos los Instructores, Asistentes y Esquinas de la Región Centro (CTCA).
La Región Central del CTCA ha organizado una Semana de Formación de Instructores para el verano de 2026 del 14 al 18 de junio.
La Semana de Formación de Instructores se celebrará en Londres, en el campus de Fanshawe College. Uno de los amplios gimnasios y otras salas del campus se utilizarán para el taller. Todas las comidas se servirán en el campus y se proporcionará alojamiento para dormir en el mismo para ofrecer una experiencia inmersiva de Tai Chi . Las comidas y el alojamiento están incluidos en el precio del taller de 500 $ para 4 días y medio de Formación de Instructores de Tai Chi. Cada día comenzará con el desayuno y la instrucción del programa de 9:00 a 21:00 h, con abundantes descansos para comer y refrigerios durante el día.
Todos los instructores de la Región Central que impartan actualmente una clase pueden solicitar un subsidio de viaje para cubrir los gastos de asistencia al evento. Todos los asistentes de clase (y de esquina), así como cualquier persona que haya impartido clases anteriormente o esté considerando hacerlo en el futuro, pueden solicitar su inscripción al taller.
Los miembros de la CTCA que apoyan activamente la administración del centro son bienvenidos. El taller está abierto a todos los miembros de la Academia Canadiense de Tai Chi (CTCA) y la Academia Americana de Tai Chi (ATCA). La Región Central de CTCA también ha organizado un Taller de Lok Hup Ba Fa - Parte II tras la Semana de Formación de Instructores, del 18 al 20 de junio. El taller se centra en la enseñanza de la segunda mitad del Lok Hup Ba Fa, impartida por el Sr. Moy Lin-shin. El taller es ideal para quienes deseen aprender la segunda mitad del Lok Hup por primera vez o para quienes deseen profundizar en su comprensión.
La junta directiva de CTCA celebrará la Asamblea General Anual Nacional (AGA) de 2025 en Londres durante el Taller de Formación de Instructores de la Región Central. El plan actual es celebrar la AGA la tarde del 15 de junio .

Semana de capacitación de instructores

El taller comienza el domingo a las 9:00 h y se extiende hasta el jueves a las 12:30 h. Todos los instructores de la Región Central pueden solicitar un subsidio para cubrir los gastos de viaje. El taller será impartido por instructores experimentados de la Región Central.
¿Quién puede asistir? El Taller de Formación de Instructores de la Región Central está abierto a todos los instructores principiantes y continuos. Además, todos los miembros de CTCA que se estén formando activamente para convertirse en instructores (Instructores Principiantes en Formación o Instructores Continuados en Formación) también pueden asistir.
Seleccione el curso de capacitación al que desea asistir: "Principiante" o "Continuo". Inicie el Compromiso de Capacitación indicando que cumple con los requisitos para asistir al taller.

Si un miembro no puede pagar la tarifa del taller, puede solicitar un descuento. No hay tarifa por día. El último día para enviar su inscripción es el 1 de junio de 2026. Se requiere preinscripción.

Es ideal para quienes deseen aprender la segunda mitad del Lok Hup por primera vez o profundizar en su comprensión. Se recomienda encarecidamente comprender bien la primera mitad del Lok Hup Ba Fa. Habrá oportunidades para practicar la primera mitad del Lok Hup. El taller será impartido por instructores experimentados de la Región Central. El plazo de inscripción finaliza el 1 de junio de 2026. Pago de la tarifa del taller
Sería de gran ayuda para los organizadores del taller que todos pudieran pagar la matrícula antes de llegar. Esto ayudará a que las filas de inscripción avancen con rapidez.

Centro de conferencias del Fanshawe College
Todos los talleres se realizarán en el Centro de Conferencias del Fanshawe College en London, Ontario. El taller se realizará en el gimnasio del colegio. Todas las comidas son preparadas por el programa de hospitalidad del colegio, y el alojamiento se realizará en la residencia estudiantil ubicada a pocos pasos del comedor y el gimnasio.

Invitation to All Instructors, Assistants and Corners in the Central Region (CTCA).
The CTCA Central Region has organized an Instructor Training Week the summer of 2026 from June 14th to June 18th.
The Instructor Training Week will be held in London at the Fanshawe College campus. One of the large gymnasiums and other rooms at the campus will be used for the workshop. All meals will be served on campus and sleeping accommodation is being provided on campus to provide 'an Immersive Tai Chi Experience'. Meals and accommodation are included in the workshop fee of $500 for 4 ½ days of Tai Chi Instructor Training. Each day will start with breakfast and the program instruction starting at 9 AM to 9 PM with plenty of meal and snack breaks during the day.
All Central Region instructors who are currently instructing a class may apply for a travel subsidy to cover the cost to attend the event. All class assistants (and corners) as well as anyone who has taught in the past or is considering teaching in the future are welcome to apply to register for the workshop.
CTCA Members who actively support administration of the location are welcome to attend. The workshop is open all members of the Canadian Tai Chi Academy (CTCA) and the American Tai Chi Academy (ATCA). Anyone who would like to attend and is not a member and has learned Tai Chi from the Mr. moy tradition will require special permission to attend the workshop.
The instruction for the workshop will be provided by senior experienced instructors from the Central Region.
The CTCA Central Region has also organized a Lok Hup Ba Fa – Part II Workshop following the Instructor Training Week from June 18th to June 20th. The focus of the workshop is teaching the second half of the Lok Hup Ba Fa set as taught by Mr. Moy Lin-shin. The workshop is suitable for anyone who wishes to learn the second half of the Lok Hup set for the first time or anyone who wants to improve their understanding of the second half.
The CTCA board will be holding the National Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2025 in London during the Central Region Instructor Training Workshop. The current plan is to hold the AGM in the evening of June 15th.

Instructor Training Week
June 14th to June 18th 2026 in London, Ontario

The workshop starts on Sunday at 9 am and runs through to Thursday at 12:30 pm. All instructors in the Central Region may apply for a subsidy to cover travel costs to attend the workshop. The workshop will be led by senior instructors from the Central Region.
Who can attend? The Central Region Instructor Training Workshop is open to all Beginner and Continuing Instructors. Also, all CTCA members who are actively training to become an instructor (Beginner Instructor In-Training or Continuing Instructor In-Training) may also attend the workshop.
Please select the Training Stream you wish to attend: either “Beginner” or “Continuing”. Please initial the Training Pledge that you meet the criteria to attend the workshop.
CTCA Members who actively support administration of the location are welcome to attend. The workshop is open to all members of the Canadian Tai Chi Academy (CTCA) and American Tai Chi Academy (ATCA). Anyone who would like to attend and is not a member and has learned Tai Chi from the Mr. Moy tradition will require special permission to attend the workshop. (Select “Other” on the membership section on the Registration Form.)
The focus of the workshop is on improving the Tai Chi of the attendees as well as their instruction skills. There will be two streams to train beginner instructors and continuing instructors to teach the Arts from the Mr. Moy tradition.
All CTCA members attending are required to pay the flat rate of $500 for the workshop. If a member is not staying at the conference centre or is providing their own food (special dietary needs), the workshop fee is decreased by 50%. If a member cannot afford the workshop fee, they may apply for a discount to the workshop fee. There is no single day rate. The final day to submit your registration is: June 1st 2026. Pre-registration is required.

Workshop Fee Payment
It would help the workshop organizers if everyone could pay their workshop fees prior to arrival. This is to help keep the registration lines moving quickly.
If you would like to pay by credit card or with a debit card, a PayPal invoice can be sent to you to enable secure online payment.

Fanshawe College Conference Centre
All workshops will be held at the Fanshawe College Conference Centre in London, Ontario. The workshop will be held in the gymnasium at the college. All meals are prepared by the college hospitality program with the accommodation making use of the student housing located a short walk from the dining hall and gymnasium.
